- The next round opens November 1, 2026, but the provider has not yet posted its closing date or final 2027–28 rules. In the preceding round, applicants had to be first-generation immigrant students who were undocumented—with or without DACA or TPS—entered the United States before age 16, met a 2.5 GPA minimum, demonstrated significant unmet need and planned full-time enrollment at an eligible Partner College. The preceding award covered up to $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree plus as much as $6,000 for books, supplies and transportation; do not treat those figures as guaranteed for 2027–28 until the new application opens.
